Meet the Team

Matt Davis
Matt leads the business in terms of growth and expansion, with overall joint business responsibility with Mark Clipstone.
Matt is a keen entrepreneur who prides himself on success and seamless business attributes.
He started the business in 2011 after running a successful logistics business, specialising in hazardous waste transportation.
Matt has been in the WEEE waste industry prior to the 2003 WEEE Directive and therefore, has grown DCS to reflect the current and rapidly increasing market and legislative requirements.
Matt has been accredited with the recognised WAMITAB qualification and learnt a lifetime experience along the way.
Winning the prestigious Fred Jamieson Award at 2022 RAC Cooling Industrial awards, Matt was recognised for his contribution, entrepreneurial spirit and passion for our industry.

Mark Clipstone
Refrigeration installation has been at the forefront of Mark’s career since he was a young man. At around 20 he was employed as an installations operative on the shop floor.
Since then he has worked his way up the ladder and now co-owns Davis Commercial Services.
Mark has and extensive knowledge in this sector and understand the process and challenges completely.
Mark heads up the installations department within DCS.

Claire Davis
Claire has been with the business since it was founded in 2011, and is committed to its success.
Having previously formed and developed numerous departments within the business, her focus now, is to drive the organisation forward through her people professional skillset. Claire believes the development of people is key to any successful business, increasing employee retention, engagement and satisfaction. Her aim is to support the people whilst ensuring the business grows and thrives within our brand and ethos.
Claire also enjoys working together with our executive team to develop strategies and helping to promote and develop existing solutions and services to clients.

Philip Clarke
Phil came to DCS within the company acquisition of ABI, he had been there since 2004 as a Senior Supervisor, progressing through the ranks from Installations Manager & Accounts Manager. Now Philip sits on the board at DCS and plays an integral part to the success of the company as Installation Director. Phil has a vast amount of experience, loyalty and trust within the business and carries out his duty to the highest of standards.

Andy Hunt
Andy has joined the Board at Davis Commercial Services following a colourful and comprehensive career in the industry. The experience he has goes from Progressing Refrigeration Engineer to Sales Director, responsible for major end user accounts in UK and Europe.
Andy had key responsibility in providing turnkey design, supply and installation of capital refrigeration equipment together with a full installation and service offer to refrigeration projects within Hypermarkets in Hungary,Poland,Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Andy has worked closely with refrigerated display case manufacturers to develop a seamless factory to sales floor delivery and installation process in both UK and Europe.
DCS was delighted when Andy started working in partnership during 2018 and now the role of Non Executive Director in March 2023.

Gareth Watt
Gareth has been working within the refrigeration industry since 2003.
Beginning his career on the tools, case fitting, then working himself up to supervisor level running all kinds of installation and removal works across the UK.
From 2010, Gareth ran his own business as a subcontractor, in the cabinet installation field – looking after large installations and rollout projects.
When the opportunity of working for DCS came to light he felt it was the right time to move into Project Management.
Gareth is a key member in the Project management department, with his knowledge and skillset, Gareth adds significant value to the team.

Jason Hawley

Luke Birch
Before joining the DCS family, Luke gained knowledge of the HVAC industry throughout an apprenticeship in which he worked his way through the ranks to a Service Manager.
Luke has fantastic attention to detail and co-ordination skills. He leads the Labour Management throughout DCS. The relationship he has built with our labour pool is second to none and has quickly become integral to the business success.

Tiffany Kells
Tiffany has over 10 years’ experience in Business and Accounts. Gaining Level 3 qualifications in AAT.
Having worked in both industry and practice, it has given her a broad knowledge within accounts and administrative roles.
Joining DCS in March 2022, Tiffany has became an asset to the company and is enjoying working with the team.
Tiffany has recently had a promotion whereby, she will be working closely with the Directors and Senior management team at DCS, as a company PA.

Tim Tyson CMIOSH
Tim started his career as an operator within the chemical industry, where he quickly realised, he had a more investigative nature.
In 2012 he put this into practice and began his safety career. Since then, he has gone on to provide support and guidance on several high hazard and highly regulated installations. Previously, Tim managed sites involved in Anaerobic Digestion and is well versed in Environmental legislation and the process involved in Recycling and Energy production.
Tim’s knowledge and experience has also allowed him to become a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner with the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health.
